CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2020 SCOUT GRANT WINNERS!

Scout is excited to announce the results of this year's Emerging Filmmakers Grant sponsored by Writer and Director Colin Trevorrow!

Now more than ever, we are steadfast in our mission to empower and engage emerging filmmakers, to amplify the voices of our future leaders. This was - and is - our motivation behind creating the Emerging Filmmakers Grant in partnership with Visura.co, sponsored by Colin Trevorrow.

For the second year, Mr. Trevorrow supports 2 emerging filmmakers aged 18 and under, and 19 to 24, each with a $5,000 cash grant.

The two recipients of the Scout Film Festival Emerging Filmmakers Grant receive:

-$5000 cash to complete/fund the project submitted
-A mentorship with Colin Trevorrow, Director of Safety Not Guaranteed and next summer's Jurassic World: Dominion
-A special film screening at Scout Film Festival
-A Three Year sponsored Visura Plus Membership, a curated database of leading visual storytellers worldwide

We received powerful submissions from all over the world and it was a difficult process narrowing down the list presented to the Jury. We want to thank all the filmmakers who submitted their stories to our Grants this year. We celebrate each and every one of you, encourage you to continue perfecting your craft, and look forward to seeing your work in the future!

To this year's panel of industry leaders, who voluntarily served as judges of the grant, the Scout community extends a special thanks for your support, time, and dedication!

Scout is a community that serves as a conduit for discovering talent. We offer a stage upon which we amplify, unify and celebrate the best of emerging film.

Enjoy screenings and events during Scout / Hyperspace 2020 Festival through the end of April.

Local Love. Global Love.
