Special performance by Nicole Michelle, Pop Prodigy.
At 16 years of age she's currently working on her first full-length record titled Generation N, produced by Jeff Timmons of the multi-platinum vocal group 98 Degrees and Ken Lewis (who’s credentials include 65 Billboard #1’s, 89 Gold & Platinum selling albums and singles, 59 Grammy Nominations and 16 Grammy Awards) along with two-time Grammy Award-winning guitarist and producer, Paul Nelson for the late Johnny Winter adding instrumentation.

PREMIERE - Conversations From the Open Road Chicago: Public School Closures: Systemic Racism in 2018 Documentary/Journalistic series followed by Q&A with all media-makers AND guest, facilitated by David Goodman
Seven Vermont high school and college students drove to Chicago to listen to and learn from the people fighting against the nationwide trend of public school closures in brown and black communities. Each student has created a journalistic short expressing a particularly poignant aspect of what we heard. All of the VT students will be present for this Q&A and conversation to follow.
In addition, we are extremely excited that two of the students featured in this Chicago story are joining us for this showing and Q&A, thanks to a very generous donation!
Conversations From the Open Road is a traveling journalism, digital storytelling program for Vermont high school and college students. Please join us for the debut showing of the shorts from one of our 2018 projects.
