Animated short films are narrative or abstract motion pictures, running less than 40 minutes, in which movement and characters’ performances are created using a frame-by-frame technique. Includes, but not limited to the following techniques: hand-drawn animation, computer animation, stop-motion, clay animation, pixilation, cutout animation, and drawing on the film frame itself.
